I was seen on time and by a very efficient and friendly optician. I have been with the same branch for nearly 35 years!

The staff are all very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable, the reception area is clean and pleasant, the receptionist welcoming.
The contact lens and glasses appointments are very thorough, with opticians who are dedicated to client care and getting information and prescriptions absolutely correct.
Pricing: This level of service does come at a premium, appointments are at the higher end of 'competitive' and as a 'practice plan' member I do find myself annually doing the calculations to decide whether it's value for money.
Frames and lenses are equally priced towards the top end of the competitive pricing bracket, for this reason I do tend to take my prescription elsewhere to purchase glasses, staff are aware of this and this decision process is never frowned upon, there is equally no 'hard sell' by staff in store.
Due to the level of care and perceived benefits I am still happy to remain on the practice plan and remain a customer; I justify the cost as money well spent for the quality of care, attention, and service I get from the team and believe that my ongoing relationship with both the broader business and branch is worth the investment.

Rawlings is my registered optician, recently recieved an email to book an eye test and examination. Contacted reception and an appointment was made within two weeks. On the day of the appointment I was seen on time and undertook a thorough examination and eye test. All the staff at Stockbridge are polite, friendly and very professional. I would certainly recommend Rawlings in Stockbridge to anyone enquiring or seeking and optician

I had a wonderful experience with Ant and his team in Banstead, in particular Mike who gave me a thorough hearing test and I left feeling expertly cared for, and a clear path to recovering my hearing loss. Congratulations Team Rawlings it’s rare to experience such genuine service. 🙏🙏

Going to Rawlings is like going home for Christmas after a long g time away. From the warm welcome by the staff to the treatment received, the staff are professional, considerate and supportive. I had my ears checked and will be going later this year to have my eyes tested. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are a very welcome addition to Lymington High Street. 😀

WOW, what an eye test and contact lens check up. Absolutely brilliant, all checks done and everything explained.

I have been with Rawlings Opticians for a few years now and have always had exceptional service from them. Reception are welcoming and friendly, the service professional and thorough and I feel very looked after every time I visit the practice. Your eyes are very important so you want to make sure you are getting the best care possible, so give Rawlings a call and book that appointment. They manage my contact lenses and glasses and have a state of the art eye scanner which really does give you an in depth view of those optic nerves - something you don't get to see (pardon the pun) every day!.

Great experience. First eye test for my 5 year old who was very nervous beforehand. Optician put her at ease, very friendly and by the end my daughter was asking for “more games please”. I will definitely use again

They use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that goes far beyond a simple eye test, making me feel incredibly confident in the health of my eyes. The team took the time to explain everything in detail and discussed all options. Professional, thorough, and clearly experts in their field. Highly recommended!

Bill was very friendly on my first visit to Rawlings. He was extremely knowledgeable and adjusted the settings of my hearing aid to improve the incoming volume which has made a positive difference. I have already spoken highly of Bill and recommended him to friends.

Always a very professional experience & great response when called with an issue, which turned out to be a torn retina in March 2024, their quick reaction and immediate appointment, ended that day with laser repair surgery at Frimley, all correspondence & seamless action at hospital was organised by Rawlings in Alresford, which is where Alton branch sent me, within 30 minutes of phone call.
Certainly saved what could have been a lot worse.

I recently started using this branch as the parking is easier (and free) than my previous branch. I was able to get a walk-in appointment on two occasions when I needed attention for my glasses. On both occasions they were fixed ASAP and without charge, as I had bought them from (another) branch of Rawlings. It also feels good to support an independent business.

Always such a pleasure to pop in. Whether it’s to get new glasses or get existing glasses fixed you feel like part of a community. Sally is kindness personified. She’s beyond patient with my rather accident prone approach to wearing glasses. Highly recommend.

My mother and I both had appointments with Rawlings in Lymington for ear wax removal. We were both attended by Bill, who was lovely, professional and technically adept. I would highly recommend Rawlings, and particularly Bill!

I recently had an eye test with Helen and the team at Alton. Everyone was in a good mood and happy to help me pick some new glasses.
Helen was especially enthusiastic and we had an interesting chat about the new tech being used in particular.
